How do you replace the lock and tumbler on a 05 chevy silverado?

Have the new one, ready to change it, How do I do it?

you need to take the plastic cover off the steering Calum. the key need to turn to the run position. their is a small hole by the lock cylinder that you need to depress a tap. you probably will not get it changed if you never did it be for. i did plenty its simple if you know what to do. i suggest to let a pro do it. or take you time and don't force it or it will cost you more.
