I watched several videos but I just wanted to be completely certain of how to do this properly. From the coolant tank I followed the hose to what I think is the sensor, but how do I know for sure? Then I unplug the ground wire from the sensor and check for corrosion. If no corrosion exists I simply unbolt the sensor carefully. If corrosion exists I need to replace the wire. Then after the sensor is unbolted and removed it should leak a bit of coolant, but I read some sensors need a sealant of some kind while others are already done. How do I know if it needs the sealant and what kind of sealant and where do I put the sealant on the sensor? Lastly I just replace the sensor, bolt it in after I screw it in by hand a bit, and reconnect the wire, if there was no corrosion. Is this all I need to do?
