how can i make my 97 chevy silverado look better(pics)?

i bought this truck for 500 dollars like a year ago(before i could drive) has a 5.7 liter v8(350) i replaced pretty much everything in the engine that needed to cuz it didnt run before but it runs like new now. ive put disc brakes on it instead of drum brakes the brakes barely even worked to begin with either incase some says i should focus on the engine or something idk ive added like a 2-3 in lift
chrome side steps
bigger tires
american racing wheels
brush guard
the bed like the top of it is diamond plated
i have a duraliner in the bed
when i first got it i put some really really big tires on it i think they were like 40s i was riding really high off the ground...i got them at a swap meet for 10 dollars a tire and im 5ft4 so i couldnt really get in the car haha so i got smaller tires(brand new) for 200 bucks a tire...

i was thinking a billet grill and a cowl hood? maybe paint it glossy black chrome it out
maybe a dual exhaust. get better performance and it would sound mean
the truck like roars when i put the pedal down to the floor and growls when i put it down a lil bit...idk though. the grill will cost like 10 dollars though so yeah
i dont have much money
i got like 900 bucks to spare ive already spent 5k on this truck in the last year not including the truck

I had a Silverado. Best thing to keep it good looking is to keep it simple and decent looking. Don't over do it. Nice paint, keep everything neat. If you can afford rims it will make it sexier.

First decide what you want to do with it. Since the 350 is old and tired, the best bet is to make a mud truck, as I've seen you listed some ideas.

If you dump the truck and buy huge dubs, you will look silly because you can't afford a 5,000$ paint job and 5,000$ body/fiberglass work.

First thing I would do is save 2-3 grand, get a nice paint job. Black/dark colors look really nice on these old trucks. Then you could focus on a lift, wheels, and differentials.

You might regret spending money on simple stuff like brush guard/chrome stick-ons later. Nothing looks cheaper than the fake chrome junk and 'weather' protectors - like for the windows or front hood. Save for the most expensive stuff first. Good luck!
