Hello:
I had to replace a wheel bearing in the front rotor of my 90 4X4 3/4 ton suburban
I"m having trouble getting the snap ring in
In the diagram from my repair manual it shows the snap ring goes just after the locking nut and then the locking hub.
I tried this because there is a notch there, but it's a real sloppy fit.

When I removed the rotor, I had to take the snap ring off first, then pulled out the locking hub, nuts ....etc
Now when I go to put things together, I'm having a hard time installing the snap ring on the shaft after the hub is in.
Anyone have any tips, ideas?
Thanks Mel

I got it figured out.
I pulled the other side off to take a look
Sometimes I'm so stupid, I even amaze myself

That's the way my daddy taught me, Mel. Always do one side at a time so if you get stuck, you can use the other side for a reference. Glad to hear you figured it out, because I don't know diddly squat about four wheel drives. Never owned one.

You can definitely add me to that list!
