Ok so I have a 1970 c10 2wd with a 3 speed saginaw, soon to be upgraded, I just installed a bbc 396. My big problem is I can't seem to find/get headers that will clear the motor mounts. I have brand perches, motor mounts and even used shims. I have tried tight fit header hugger headers but still having a problem. Am I using the wrong headers, mounts, or perches etc? I don't get it, in 1968 and 1969 chevy had the option of the 396 so how the heck do I get this to work? Please guys help me out with this! Thanks so much
