Guage Problem

04 Suburban, 1500, LT. While driving, all gauges go off, warning lights come on, speedometer works, tach works. Also, A/C, clock, radio goes off. Fan stays on and truck runs fine. I can disconnect the battery and everything resets. Intervals between stoppages are getting closer together. Will take it to the shop, but if it is something simple, I will do it myself.

A number of possibilites, corrosion at fuse block, bad ground, bad connection at BCM, bad gauge cluster.
