i am working on a 77 nova. the fuel guage does not work. i am getting 3.4 volts at the fuel guage. what is the voltage suppose to be. also, two plugs on top of the alt, unplugged i get 12 volts on both connections, but when plugged into the alt, i get 12 v on one plug and 3.4 on the other. any ideas on what the voltage is suppose to be for the fuel guage?
