I took my '93 'burb in to cash in a free oil change coupon I got. Naturally these are used by shops to grow new business. Well, they checked over the fluids systems; valve covers leak, oil pan leaks, p/s pressure lines leak, and the p/s gearbox leaks. All in all about $1k to have them do it all. Naturally I declined and plan to do them myself. Nice, no pressure people though. I appreciated the advice.
LOL...they (and we) know there is ALWAYS something that could be fixed once they get you in the door!
