Flowmaster for my Chevy Suburban?

Go with a two chamber set they will do good for you. I have a pair on my silverado and they sound good.
another one to look at is magnaflow they are a better flowing muffler then flow master and that's a fact that's proven and they still sound Pretty good. you know go check some rigs that have this stuff done on you tube it will give you a little idea of what to expect.

I want to put flowmaster on my 1998 Chevy Suburban 4x4 with the 5.7 liter engine. I want something that will be loud and turn heads, but not be obscenely loud. I was thinking dual tips out the side. I want it to look good as well so what size tips should i use? Thank you

I have an 89 Camaro with a 5.7 with the Flowmaster exhaust and it sounds beautiful. Its noticeable but you pretty much need to be in sight of it to hear it. It has a nice rumble and sounds like it breathes good but then again you dont need a flowmaster system either there are many more exhaust systems out there so do a little shopping around.

Flowmaster doesn't make an exhaust that doesn't sound like crap, produce crappy flow, or just fall apart.. if you want a good exhaust that will last the lifetime of the car and give you that "panty dropper" sound i recommend you buy a magnaflow.. ls1tech.com did a flowtest on like 15 mufflers from companies like borla, corsa, magnaflow, flowtech, flowmaster, ect.. anyways the magnaflow flowed the best out of all other mufflers and magnaflows just have that nice grumble to them no raspy crap sound

I have a 97 2 door tahoe with dual straight pipes a lot cheaper!! catalytic converters in tact. they each turn out behind the back tires at an angle very sweet looking. As far as loud they actually are not extremely loud UNLESS you get down on it hard. then they come to life. I have never had an issue with police. or inspection. ( better check your state specs for that) find a small family owned muffler shop. They know the truth. Big places are subjuct to corperate BOP's and may not allow it. Flow masters do not wake up enough for me. If it's too loud stick the flows on. Loud Pipes Save Lives. God Bless. You tube it
