For those of you who have “upgraded” your Burb’s exhaust... how have you managed the drone, if you experienced it,?

I have a 2010 2500 4x4 LS. I removed the third cat and had true duel exhaust installed. I went with a X pipe to counteract the distance from the driver’s side vs the shorter passenger side. 2 fairly calm mufflers and down pipe out the passenger side behind the rear wheel.

everything is great except between 1900 & 2100 rpm. The drone from the cavity under the rear bumper can be a bit overwhelming.
Any ideas?

Not the same vehicle, a 71 GTO, went with a complete Pypes exhaust system. At 2,000 RPM, about 40 mph so local driving, it felt like my fillings were going to come out of my head. Installed a pair of Dynomax VT mufflers, they have a built in spring loaded valve, got rid of drone and still sound good when you step on pedal.

Thank you. I will look into them. Sounds like just what I need.
