I would like to know if the factory says that E10 gasoline is permissible to use or not. I would think the owner's manual would show this info. I have not found one yet. I understand that some states in the U.S.A. have E15.
1986 Chevy Cavalier with 2.0 Liter EFI engine is what I have.

I'm in Connecticut and have been using E10 in cars from the 60's and 70's for many years with no ill effect. There is no issue in using E10 in a 1986 vehicle. You can not use E15.

Unfortunately the oldest I have access to is 93
