Engine Swap 2011 4.8l Questions

Hello,

My 2011 4.8l Silverado has sat in the garage for about 9 months, due to bad cam bearings. It currently has 98k miles. I've got a used engine coming to me that's the exact same year, 4.8l etc., it has 45k miles on it.

Should I be concerned about any other component of the truck since it has sat for so long? The used engine has not sat very long, so I'm not too concerned about it per say. Everything else in my truck worked fine prior to the engine having these issues... but is there something that may come up after the engine swap

Only 9 months, nothing to really worry about other than you may want to drain the gasoline but even that may not be necessary. If it had sat for years that would be another situation. Good luck with the swap.
