gauge? My speedometer and gas gauge began to malfunction in Janurary 2010. The speedometer works occassionally. The gas gauge indicator, when the tank is filled, goes all the way straight down towards the floor and when about half of the fuel is used, it occassionally will adjust to the proper setting. The Chevrolet service manager stated concerning the gas gauge that it was not the gauge but was a problem within the tank and would cost a consider amount of money to fix as they would have to remove the tank.
