When I check the oil level in my 2022 Silverado, the front side with the crosshatching shows above full; but the backside that is smooth shows below minimum. Which is accurate. How can the same dipstick show vastly different levels; more than 1 quart difference? Does the oil wick itself up the dipstick? Or is the backside oil repelant?
