My cruise doesn't work. I pulled the 10 amp fuse, and it is good. Haven't done anything else. The small indicator light for the cruise on steering wheel works, bur the indicator light on dash panel does NOT work. All other electrical functions are good. Ideas? besides a trip to dealer. Thx.

I disconnectd battery for three hours. Didn't work. Reconnected battery. Still have the small orange colored indicator light on steering wheel, but no cruise icon on dash. And no cruise control. Other ideas?

All the fuses check out. Also had local Autozone put their dx tool on it, and no codes appeared. Still wondering......

I had the same problem on my 07 it could be the switch that goes to the brake pedal thats what was wrong with mine switch was around $20

Thanks for ide about switch. Is only way to check out to pull it, then replace it, and have a go then?

That would be your best way, my mechanic said that they was 3 or 4 sensor for the cruise control but the one on the brake pedal goes out more often than the others

Yep change the brake switch and it should be working again. Chevy knows that they have a problem with the brake switch so the dealer keeps several on hand. I bought mine for $20 bucks and it fixed my problem on my 08 silverado as well.
