It's an '08 Chevy Cobalt 2dr LT (Auto) with about 25-30K miles.
I'm using an estimated residual value of about 50% (or $8,500) to calculate my offer. If this seems low, remember that this is a Chevy and when it comes to residuals, I don't make the rules...
Now considering the fact that it's a CPO with a good warranty program, I would offer about $9,350 plus tax and title
which puts me at about $10,200 --paid with a check.
The KBB "dealer price" was about 12K
The Edmunds' TMV "CPO price" was about 11K
Is my offer fair or should I expect the dealer to turn around and kick me out on my a** ? Looking for opinions...
