Have a 72 Chevelle with a 402 CU IN with a performer manifold. Have a Cowl induction hood will the cowl induction air cleaner fit with the supplied spacer?

Who supplied the spacer, Edelbrock?
Did you measure the mounting pad height compared to the stock manifold?
Isnt the Edelbrock taller, so why would you need a spacer?

You are supplying bits and pieces with each post instead of stating what combination of parts you are working with.
1. You have an original cowl induction hood.
2. You have a Edelbrock Perfromer Manifold.
3. You have some sort of spacer supplied by SS 396 to clear the choke of your carburetor.
4. Assume you either have the original Quadrajet or a Holley or even maybe an Edelbrock carburetor.

I think your best bet is to call SS 396 tech support and tell them exactly what parts you are trying to work with since they must do this every week.
