Could I put a turbo in my 2009 Chevy Cobalt LT?

I have a 09 cobalt with 10000 miles on it and when the warranty runs out, i was interested in dropping a turbo in it (if its worth it and can be done). My question is, can it be done? and if so how much horsepower would it add? Its running 155 now sine its a base model.

sure can. The Cobalt SS is turbocharged. I would look for a wrecked '07 or '08 to get the turbo system off of. The stock SS's make 250-ish horsepower, so you would be somewhere in that neighborhood.

You could but you would want to upgrade a lot of other things too if you want to have the car for a long time or do more than a small amount of boost. Start with pistons, rods, clutch, transmission, axles, etc.
