Corvette's now on their own?? What about Dale Jr and all the GM teams?

Are the guys in ALMS/Grand-Am and Le Mans now on there own? with no factory to support teams, etc.

Reasonable to expect the government will support these programs? Same as in NASCAR, with GM...is this it?
I think GM voted for change...when they lobbied against CAFE regulations...where are the lobbyist's now?
I look at GM because it was a much more global company than Chrysler. Ford is doing OK at this time.

The Obama administration will decide how much of GM's money goes toward racing.

That doesn't sound good does it? Especially for the liberal hated NASCAR. They assume all of NASCAR is racist, redneck and republican.
