Hey i own a 1975 corvette stingray, and i know my headlights run off vacuum, and there stuck up, the only way to put them down is to manually do it, Which i did today, i took out the springs, there are 2 big and 2 small on each side, then pulled them down, but when i start up the car, even if the light switch is pushed in to off. They still come back up, even without the springs, just when i start it up. I want to be able to drive around with them staying down, thats why i took out the springs, there haunted i think.
