i had my vette soda blasted, its a bit rough . after i get it smooth, what type of filler should i use ? i'm thinking of something like the red putty that was once used in bodywork, but obviously i need a product for fiberglass. any suggestions?

Do Not Use Spot Putty!!!

Wash the car thoroughly and let it dry. Then go to a Speiz Hecker jobber and get Raderal. It is sold by the quart and is kind of expensive but it sticks to everything. It is a sprayable filler. This will take out ALL of the imperfections caused by the blasting. Especially if you put at least one quart per panel. You will need a spray gun with at least a 2.0 cap and needle.

This sounds pricey, but trust me it will save you tons of time and effort. Block the Raderal with 80 grit, then 180 and then prime. You'll be ready to paint in a week as long as there isn't much else body work to do.
