I'm approaching my 16th birthday and my parents are a little strict for a car purchase. MY dad Doesnt want something big but I dont want something small. I sggested a Chevy Suburban. my dad says maybe, what do you think?

Well a chevy suburban is a good and cheap choice, but may a bit to much of a gas guzzler. it averages between 15-20 mpg. I suggest a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid, yes it is a bit more costly but may pay itself off in a couple of years. Although you are sixteen now maybe you'd want to postpone a bit longer maybe to your 18th if necessary, Chrysler is coming in with a new partner from Italy called Fiat and that may be worth your while to look into. Also if you wait to 2010 at the latest you will be able to purchase the Chevy Camaro or the Chevy Volt, both in my opinion are very good cars and have pretty good gas mileage, the camaro can come in the option of a V6 engine being more gas conserving. But a Chevy suburban is a very good choice, a little bit nicer one would be the Denali.
