Chevy Silverado Radio. What is aux?

I have a 2000 Silverado and the stock Radio/CD player has a button with aux on it. My question is; On the back of the radio is there an input for an rca aux hook up. Also does anyone know is there is an amp output for a sub on the back of the stock radio?

aux is a auxiliary power outlet, and it lets you plug up things like your i pod or mp3 players

No, there's not a RCA in the back of it. We took a friends out a while back just for the hell of it. If it says there' s an aux then there probably is. Factory radios don't come with RCA outputs, some aftermarket decks don't even come with RCA outputs.
