Chevy Silverado Electrical?

I have a 1995 Silverado that sometimes it starts no problem and other times it just makes that all too familiar dead battery clicking sound, all while lights and radio etc. are working fine. It has a couple of times done absolutley nothing no clicking NOTHING at all I'm talking (Deadsville), but again lights radio etc. still work fine. In fact sometimes all power seems to be fine until I turn key then power cuts out and NOTHING? Then out of the clear blue it will start right up again ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!! Someone told me the starter might be bad? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks for you help in advance.
