hi i am looking at a chevy silverado that has a little transmission slip around 50-60 mph
the fluid seems to be ok..other than that i have a minor water pump leak...can the water pump cause a tranny slip??
(im not sure if its used to cool trannyor somthing like that...)
im thinking of picking this truck up If i can get this truck cheap (1999 silverado clean clean body)
im also wondering if i could just shift from 3rd gear to drive to avoid the slip when it changes around 50-60 mph or even at that just drive in 3rd?? (would rpm's be too high)
i just need some help from someone who knows about this stuff
