This is a long one so be prepared.

Recently, I have been noticing that my car would turn over very sluggishly. A few days ago, it would not start at all and when I tried to start it, it would smoke and do nothing else. I checked the engine and found that the oil was out. I added 4 quarts to the engine and waited for about 30 minutes. The engine started quickly and drove well. I drove for 20 minutes to get hoe and noticed nothing unusual or strange about its performance.

I got home and the cut the engine. Five minutes later, the engine would not start and made a squirting noise when i tried to start it.

Today I had the car towed. We tried to jump it but nothing changed. He noticed that the belt looked like it was trying to move when starting and that it he thought that the starter was trying to kick in. He suggested that the motor may be locked up.

Is there anything else that could cause this or am I looking at fixing a motor. Also, if there is any other information you need, please let me know. Thank you!
