Hey everyone!....I own a 2007 Chevy Cobalt and I just heard the news about the Power steering recall on the 2005-2010 Cobalts....I had the exact problem described (The "Power Steering" message on the Dash).....I had this problem a few months ago when there was no recall on the Power Steering, So I took it to Goodyear and they said I had to get the steering column replaced....They ordered the parts from GM and replaced the parts $1300 later.....
Now that the recall has come out, is there nay way I can get a refund on this faulty part that I already spent money to fix?....Even if only for the parts?....Or even the labor?..Since this was a problem they have apparently been investigating since 2009?
