Chevy Cobalt, Kia Soul, Or Honda Civic (probably the 06 or 07)?

For my first car? which one do you recommend?

Well a lot of factors play into this. If you want a cheap car to trade in like a year or two and don't care how the car handles that much go with the Kia. If you want a nice looking car that can last you like 10 years (if taken care well) then go with Civic. If you want a car that is cheap to fix and can be kept like 5 years or less go with Cobalt. Personally from driving (did a lot of testing cars at an auto shop) i recommend going with a Civic cause of its Value after like 5 years is still good.

definitely don't go for the cobalt. chevys were generally crap back then. the kia isn't a bad option, but those were the first years for the soul, so there were still some bugs to be worked out. if it were me i'd go for the civic: best reliability, best driving experience.
