If you aren't tempted to drive fast, sure.
The reason I say that is because of the facts of how fast the Colbat SS is in a straight line (0-60 in 5.7 seconds, quarter mile in 14.1) and how young drivers such as yourself have major tendencies to drive quick and to show off. The Cobalt is amazingly quick on the track for its attributes (front wheel drive, 200 horsepower) and can lap the VIR (Virginia International Racecourse) quicker than a WRX STI, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, and a Lexus IS-F.
The Cobalt SS has pretty decent gas mileage, scoring it at 28 miles per gallon on the highway with a manual transmission.
Another plus is its comfort, accessories, and room. The SS, unlike most American cars, is pretty luxurious and comfortable. It also has 55.5 inches of room heightwise, which is impressive for a car in its price range.
Purchase this car if you:
- Can drive responsibly.
- Are willing to pay for gas.
- Are willing to have a car with two seats.
