chevvy silverado lift questions?

I'm have a 95 chevy silverado 2wd that I'm looking to lift. I am wondering if a 5 inch lift in the front and a 2 inch lift in the back would be enough room to fit 33 inch tires. Or should I go to a six in the front and 3 in the rear. I'm sure this question has been asked a lot but I could not find any threads. Please let me know what you have to say.
