I'm deciding on what car to buy between a Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceotor or Chevy Suburban. I'm really looking for speed. The police intereceptors hp ranges to about 235 on the 2003 models, with 275 pound feet of torque.... which is impressive. But the suburbans, gets 290-352 HP on the new model, with about 410 lb feet of torque. my question is, which vehicle would be able to fly faster? my dad thinks the for may be able to considering that its lighter, and that the suburban is more made for power, and the suburban is a heavier vehicle. I still think that the suburban could beat the ford with all the horses and torque it has. Is my dad right or Am I? what is your opinion? remember im looking for the fastest out of these two. thanks, tony
