I have ODB2 reader.... will it help? If now what kind of device I need to use?

It is related to problem with remote starter which doesn't work anymore, just lights flashing..... (Battery in the fob is fine)

If the problem is with the remote starter the OBD II scanner will not help you. You need to check the fuses and wiring for the remote starter to troubleshoot it. Might be the computer bypass module has failed not allowing the car to start without the key in it.

go online to ODB2 reader site, make sure yours is correct for your vehicle year, the website will give you the correct interpretation, but you do have to have a basic knowledge of the vehicle's systems...good luck.
