Can't see bulbs in dash any more--2003 Suburban

You can't see the bulbs that light the gear you are in on the cluster anymore. They are extremely dim. Is this something I can do? Is it relativity easy or no?

Also planning on replacing all of the bulbs in the radio assembly, since they're all going out, one by one, day by day. Thansk

check out this video, make sure your alternator and battery are functioning correctly, should have around 14 volts when running

It could be a defective dimmer switch or a loose ground wire.

Bump this thread...have the same issue and wondering what it could be. Removed the cluster and put it back in, lights got bright for a few minutes then went dim again. Ideas?

as was suggested did you eliminate a bad dimmer and a poor ground? do you have autolight feature and the dash sensor is defective?

It's not a defective dimmer switch because the rest of the dash/cluster is bright and happy. I'm guessing it's something internal with the board. Some resistors have failed or are failing and/or weak...probably will go with a rebuild.
