Can you repair a 2004 Chevy Silverado instrument cluster?

My 2004 Chevy Silverado instrument cluster is acting weird, the speedometer gauge needle is going crazy and sometimes the tachometer stops and then starts again. It will show 120mph when I know I'm doing about 60 just keeping up with traffic. What's wrong and how can I get it fixed? Can I have someone do a repair or do I have to buy a whole new part?

Check with your chevy dealer. Mine had that problem and was repaired free. I think from 2004 -2007 will eventually have to have a replacement.
