I have a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu with an aftermarket in dash head unit. I bought a remote for it on ebay (I bought the car used and the seller forgot to give me the one that came with it) and went to get it programmed and the dealer I went to said he couldn't get my car to communicate with his computer. Is it because of the deck? Or could it be something else I'm missing?
I need the aftermarket head unit for advanced control of my audio system (equalizer control, seperate control of amp output, etc.). I got a wiring harness that maintains the dings and such maybe it's faulty?
