Can someone tell me if I can fit a 08 corvette engine in a 2006 impala?

I am looking to do something different I want to put a 2008 corvette engine in my 2006 impala I just want to know if it fits

The Impala is a front wheel drive (a real piece of crap system) and the problem that I see is that the front wheel drive hardware will break under the 400 to 500 hp of the Corvette engine. Both cars use the small block GM V8 so the engine should fit. I'm not sure if the Impala front wheel drive transmission will bolt up to the Corvette block, but am very sure that you may be taxing the ability of the Impala's transmission to withstand the power. Another big problem will be actually getting the hp and torque of the '08 Vette engine to the ground.

first of all you must be rich and crazy because an 08' corvette engine is pretty darn expensive you could get a new fully loaded impala with that money. and second why would you put a big v8 500hp engine in an impala apparently you have the money so go buy a used vette and trade in the impala!

What is the flippin point?? I'd so much rather have the vette engine IN the vette it came in than have it in an Impala.
