I have a 1967 Camaro with an 8.2" open rear end with 2.73 gear ratio. My buddy has a complete 8.5" limited slip rear end with 3.55 gear ratio out of a 2000 camaro and he said I could have it, so my question is will it work? The 2000 rear end had the LS1 engine in it so it had the two speed sensors on the outside of the axles instead of having the hole drilled in the diff housing for the single speed sensor set up. Just looking at it the rear axle looks like it'll fit but I just wanted to know if anyone else has tried it or know if it can be done.

Thanks,
Justin
