...originally have one? I have a 2005 Chevy Cobalt. It is a base model and lacks side impact airbags. Is there any way I can buy aftermarket side impact airbags and get them installed? Can this be done reliably?

I wasn't aware that anyone offers aftermarket air bags - especially for an application that isn't originally factory installed.
The liability would be enormous.
