Can a bigger motorcycle like GS500 or Ninja 250 beat a Corvette?

Lets say a 2005 Corvette against a 2005 GS500. Which one would pick up faster and win a drag race? My buddies say ANY motorcycle including Ninja 250 is faster than a Corvette and I said BS. Now we're not talking top speed of course just pick up speed. I've had a SV650 and I'm pretty sure even that bike isnt faster than a fast car.
