The plexiglas roof on my '00 C5 clunks and squeaks. It doesn't leak rain or wind-noise; it's just irritating. I tightened the front clamps a little; that helped for a bit, but the noise is back, and my local Corvette guru says I've now got the lid sucked down too far, and the rubber gasket needs to be replaced. Sounds reasonable.
So the question is: is this a job I should undertake myself? Or should I pay the $$ for a pro job?
Thanks!
Rick

rickmohr,
GM dealer labor typically comes with a warranty. I would recommend looking into. I would definitely recommend having a professional do this. Happy Holidays! Feel free to email me!
