Brake system monitor

I have a 2020 chevy trail boss, at 39,000 miles the rear brakes were replaced, 4 days later when I started the truck, the screen said service brake monitor system. Now the front brakes were at 67%, took back to the dealer, they said i needed front brakes. Truck now has 41,000 miles, took to another dealer and they found a kinked sensor cable on left rear, they replaced it, but they can't get it to reset. Would all the brakes have to be changed at the same time, no matter what the life of pad are?

Strange rear brakes went before front brakes. The dealer is just throwing up their hands ? Did they check technical service bulletins? Did they contact GM?
