Brake sensor monitor system

I have a 2020 chevy trail boss, at 39,000 mile i had to have rear brakes replaced, 4 days later when I started it, the screen said service brake monitor system, front brakes said they were at 67%. Took it back to the dealer, they said i needed front brakes replaced. Took it to another dealer, the found a left rear sensor kinked. They replaced it, brakes on the front are at 50% now with 41,000 miles. The monitor will not reset. Seems kind of stupid to change all the pads if the fronts don't need to be.
