i drive a 2 door Chevy Cavalier. When I got the car I had a problem with the breaks and I had them taken in and the guy replaced my hard wear but otherwise found nothing wrong. It's hard to explain but I'll try. When I stop sometimes it like doesn't want to and it does this bump bump bump squealing noise...and at the same time my car is literally bumping forward. The breaks both front and rear have been replaced. I've had new calipers? All new hard wear. We've bled the break lines and put them all back together. My ABS was looked at it's said to be fine...and it stopped doing it for a while but it has recently started up again. I seem to notice that it starts to do it more in the winter...What's going on?
I don't believe it's the ABS though because it still does it when I pull the ABS fuse...I've been told that it has nothing to do with my ABS...It literally does it everytime I stop...dry pavement, wet paverment...you name it. I've had 5 mechanics look at it..and they all say its fixed, but it ends up resulting back to the same thing...
