New to this forum, hope someone can help answer a question. The wife has a 2009 Avalanche and loves it. While it was parked in the garage the other day I noticed that the brake lights did not come on when the brake pedal was pressed, without the key in the ignition. When I put the key in and turned it, the brake lights worked, removed it and they didn't. Every vehicle I have the brake lights work ALL the time. Checked a bunch of vehicles at work, same thing, they ALL work without the key in the ignition. Anyone else have this issue?
