Ok I have like I said a 2002 chevy malibu v6 automatic.. I was a bit late on my oil change and I noticed one day that my engine was givin me crap going up this hill. I went and got my oil changed. I still had the problem though. And not its somewhat worse. When I go up a hill I don't have enough power so it down shifts and shots my rpms to forty five hundred and I have nnnoooo power I actually slow down. My check engine light is on but the device used to check it said I was just polluting to much. Now it seems like I only have power around three to thirtyfive hundred rpms.. so my question is what's the deal? What's the problem and can I fix it?
