blended cowiling

The company selling them won't respond. Has anyone replaced their black 'grated' grills between the hood and windshield with one of those 'blended' cowls that give a smoother, color matched look? They accommodate the wipers. My question to them was do they affect the warm air that comes up and over the windshield?

Havent seen them but what do you mean by the warm air? what is the source of the warm air, the engine?

OK, the base of the windshield is a high pressure area, cowl induction Chevies, so the blended section will have no effect in my opinion. Doesnt the backend of the hood have a rubber seal anyway preventing any air from flowing out from under the back edge?

I'll have to take a closer look at the wiper grill areas. Thanks for the feedback. I need to ponder this some more.
