Bleeding ABS Brakes on Chevy Silverado?

I think we messed up an ABS pump when trying to bleed brakes on 97 chevrolet silverado. I'll be replacing it tomorrow. Is there a special way to bleed the block and then the brakes? thanks

start with the right rear, then left rear, next right front, and last left front, always start with the caliper that is the longest distance from the master cylinder and work your way back.
