I have a 2013 Silverado with the 6.2 LTR engine. I got in the truck tonight to go run some errands. When I started it I noticed it seemed slow to start but it did. Then I smelled gasoline as I was pulling away from home.
I quickly turned around and pulled back in to the driveway and noticed gas pouring out from the center of the vehicle. Does anyone know what this is. It appears to maybe be a bad fuel pump module. The truck has 19000 miles on it.
I will certainly take it in to the dealer as soon as possible but should I drive it (less than 5 miles) or have it towed.
Of course the warranty expired two days ago.
Thanks in advance.
