Better deal:07 Chevy Malibu LS basic72K mi for 8000 or 01 loaded Honda Accord

w/140k for 5500? the Malibu has basic for just about everything. The accord has leather seats, sun roof, v6 and all that stuff. I have 4k from my old rear ended car, but I am trying to replace it.

Malibu, for sure. They look better, it has a lot less miles, and ... well, it's just better. The price isn't too bad either. Go with the Chevy =)

The mileage is fairly low. However, two things to consider if you are not mechanically inclined when it comes time to fix either car, is the Honda is going to be very expensive to fix when the time comes. Chevys are extremely simple to work on and relatively cheap. To answer your question though, the Honda would be my choice simply because of the proven reliability of the Accord. Try, however, to get the service records for both and see if any have been having recent problems.
