Bent Car Keys - 2005 Chevy Cobalt?

My wife bent a car key today in our 2005 Chevy Cobalt. Would a locksmith be able to cut the key or should I go to the dealership? I don't think there are any electronic stuff in the key to make the car start. I don't know for a fact, though. If anyone else does, please let me know.
